the centre of Sheffield:
Follow A625 southwards to Calver (about 12 miles). Turn right
at the lights onto A623 for half a mile through Stoney Middleton,
and ¾ of a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep
hill into Eyam. Click

A6 north through Matlock and on to Bakewell. In Bakewell town
centre turn right on A619 for ¾ of a mile and turn left
on B6001. Continue for 3½ miles to Calver. Turn left at
the lights onto A623 for half a mile through Stoney Middleton,
and ¾ of a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep
hill into Eyam. Click

Travelling north
on M1: Leave at Junction 29. Follow A617 to Chesterfield,
then A619 (signposted Chapel-en-le-Frith) for 8½ miles
to Baslow. Take the A623 to Calver. Continue straight on at the
lights for half a mile through Stoney Middleton and ¾ of
a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep hill into Eyam.

From the centre
of Manchester: Follow A6 southwards through Stockport, Hazel
Grove, Disley for nearly 20 miles. Shortly beyond the Chapel-en-le-Frith
by-pass (dual carriageway) turn left onto the A623. Follow A623
through Sparrowpit and Peak Forest for 9 miles. The road descends
into the wooded Stoney Middleton Dale. Turn left up the steep
